Knit the outfits in this picture! Hallowe'en is a time for fun and Sylvanian Family and Calico Critters youngsters also look forward to this exciting time. I have created a very simple pattern suitable for a child to knit, perhaps for their very first project. To knit this costume you need size 2mm (old UK size 14) needles, with white and orange thin yarn such as 2, 3 or 4ply yarn, or embroidery silks, or crochet and tatting yarns. The pattern is very 'forgiving' and will still look just fine, even if there are mistakes in the knitting.
